We recommend a fall of 5 degrees on all our products, which is an 88mm drop over a 1m length. I.e. if you have a 3m sheet, you’d want a drop of 3 x 88mm which is 264mm.
The 5-Rib profile is better for low pitched roofs.
This is because it has a higher ridge on the joins, so less chance of water coming up and in-between the joins or fasteners.
If you do have a shallower pitch, we recommend putting your supports/purlins closer together so there is less chance of the sheet bowing and water pooling.
